The course lasts 45 hours (17 weeks) during semester 1 for the first-year institute students. The course is a practical class, focusing on developing students’ competence in English by learning new academic vocabulary. In this course vocabulary as well as study skills will be taught within an academic context through interactive and practical activities which will enhance their learning abilities.
