THEORY AND PRACTICE OF TRANSLATION

This study-unit is complementary to Chinese Language 2. It seeks to guide the students to further develop the skills of combining their knowledge of the Chinese language with the ability to communicate in Chinese in real-life conversational situations. It will focus on and strengthen matters of pronunciation and intonation, besides providing participants with the language skills and knowledge required to communicate effectively in basic daily life situations.
